What is Exploring Patterns?

The text Exploring Patterns is at the bottom of the circle that sounds the hikers.Exploring Patterns, LLC is a psychotherapy practice owned by Sarah Baca, a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern (RCSWI) offering psychotherapy in the state of Florida.

“Exploring” came about because therapy is about exploring your inner mental landscapes and discovering what you might not have noticed before. “Patterns” is because the only way to make lasting change is to recognize patterns in your thinking, feelings, and behavior. Also, one of the super powers of some types of neurodivergence is the ability to recognize patterns.

Why Neurodivergent Women?

Exploring Patterns specializes in neurodivergent women because the world is missing out on women whose brains work differently. Because these women think and act differently, and can’t appear “weird” for fear of being excluded at school, work, and home, their brains are spending energy on how to behave and think like neurotypical people. But the energy that so many neurodivergent women are spending on fitting in could be used instead for trusting themselves, discovering what they want, need, and desire, finding like-minded people, and building the future they dream of.

Sarah dreams of a world where neurodivergent women feel comfortable in their own skin and don’t feel like they need to neglect themselves and take care of others.
